The Pharmacist’s Evolving Role in Diabetes Management: The Power of Real-Time Continuous Glucose Monitoring

Pharmacists are core to continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) awareness and adoption. This webinar will share best practices to support the pharmacist including the clinical benefits of Dexcom real-time CGM (RT-CGM), identification of appropriate candidates for RT-CGM, and the use of Dexcom CLARITY to analyze patterns and trends to prioritize glycemic issues and identify diabetes management solutions. We will introduce you to the ADCES and APhA ‘Personal Continuous Glucose Monitoring Implementation Playbook’ and review a case study using the DATAA model, a standardized way to quickly review
ambulatory glucose profile (AGP) data.

In addition, this webinar will provide practical tips for pharmacists to help
people with diabetes understand how to get started using Dexcom and provide tips for successful on going use.
