The Emerging Role of the Use of Real-Time Continuous Glucose Monitoring in Type 2 Diabetes

Take a deep dive into the recent clinical evidence exploring the use of real-time continuous glucose monitoring (RT-CGM) in Type 2 Diabetes (T2D). The evidence for the role of RT-CGM in T2D is evolving. Early studies indicate a role for RT-CGM in aiding with improving glycemic outcomes and/or reducing hypoglycemia in selected patients in this population.

This program reviews the current data on the use of RT-CGM in the management of T2D, reviews case studies using RT-CGM in T2D, and provides future research direction to generate more evidence on the benefits of RT-CGM in this population.
